Methods and charges of delivery
Thanks to the best courier companies, we can guarantee a quick delivery and
offer our customers a variety of different solutions for all their needs. Following
you will find our options of delivery available just for Italy for international
shipment there is only one delivery option:
Standard
delivery:
We'll add 12.95 € to your shopping
basket to cover the delivery charges. That price has to be considered fixed,
that is not dependent on the number of items composing the delivery. It is
also valid for all Italy, including islands and places less connected. We aim
to deliver all items, shown as available in the web site, within 5 working
days from the day you place your order.
Packages are insured against
theft or damage.
Super express delivery:
lf at the moment of buying goods are shown as available in the web site, we
may be able to offer you our Super Express Delivery service, which will be
with you within 24h (48h to Calabria, Islands and places less connected), from
the first working day after the date of your order. This
service costs 17,50 € per
delivery. That price has to be considered fixed, that is not dependent on the
number of items composing the delivery. It is also valid for all Italy, including
islands and places less connected.
Packages are insured against theft
or damage.
Door Delivery:
By choosing this option the delivery is no more to the door of the premises
but to a specified room. If at the moment of buying goods are shown as available
on the web site, you'll receive them within 48h (72h to Calabria, Islands and
places less connected) from the first working day after the date of your order.
The service costs 25,63€ per delivery. That price has to be considered
fixed, that is not dependent on the number of items composing the delivery.
It is also valid for all Italy, including islands and places less connected.
Packages are insured against theft or damage.
Delivery by appointment:
You may receive your items by scheduling a convenient appointment with a courier.
We'll contact you to decide together the day and to know your preference about
the morning or the afternoon. The service costs
28,42€ per delivery. That
price has to be considered fixed, that is not dependent on the number of items
composing the delivery. It is also valid for all Italy, including islands and
places less connected.
Packages are insured against theft or damage.
Door delivery by appointment:
By choosing this option, you may receive your items on your floor, simply scheduling
an appointment with a courier. We'll contact you to decide together the day
and to know your preference about the morning or the afternoon. The
service costs 36,73€ per delivery. That price has to be considered fixed, that
is not dependent on the number of items composing the delivery. It is also
valid for all Italy, including islands and places less connected.
Packages
are insured against theft or damage.
Regrettably
these services are unavailable for delivery to foreign countries.*Any
date or period for delivery will be considered as indicative only, although
it is our policy to try to fulfil all orders within a few days.If
the estimated delivery time is within 5 days it means that the item is
in stock, any other longer length of time indicates its temporary unavailability or our choice to handle this type of article only if ordered. It could happen
in case of nursery room set or other particular articles, for which we could
ask you 30% of the total amount by way of account.The delivery time doesn't change according to the method of payment chosen.
Every item is sent with its certificate of purchase.If you are ordering items with different availabilities for delivery, we will
wait until we have all the items in your order before dispatching any of them.
In
the unlikely event that the goods are visibly damaged or the quantity is
lower, you should accept
them writing "I accept with reservation for missing
box/es") or "I accept with reservation for damaged box/es".
If you are not in when our Courier calls to deliver, a card will be left saying
that he called and requesting for you to contact him to organise for re-delivery.In the event you have not
been available to receive delivery for three times running, we'll charge
you stoppage costs, that are 8.00 € a day from the
day in which the third attempt of delivery has been done.Unless otherwise stated the courier can't:- Assemble your items
- Fix a date or a hour for delivery
- Deliver to your floorFor international orders to countries not currently served by us, please send
an e-mail to info@newbabyland.com. Delivery charges depend on the kind of product,
its weight and overall size, and your ship-to destination.
Terms of paymentNewBabyLand.Com offers five convenient payment options:
Cash on delivery (not available for foreign
countries):
By choosing this option, it's possible to pay for merchandise when it's delivered,
directly to the courier (by cash, prepaid cheque or counter cheque, in the
latter case the maximum expense limit is 516 euro).
WARNING: Cheques should be made
payable to "Babyland SRL", in case of counter
cheque, the courier will ask a copy of the identity document of the holder.
On the contrary, in case of prepaid cheque, it will be necessary to send a
copy of it to the following fax number: 0039 06 6148518. A the time of delivery,
our courier will collect only the cheque sent previously via fax. If you don't
comply with the aforementioned conditions, the courier won't consign the goods.
For cash on delivery there is an additional cost of € 8,00 for the courier
company.

Reason for payment: Reference to the number of the order Your
order will be executed once we have received the payment (into our current
account). To speed up delivery time please send us a fax (0039 06 6148518)
or e-mail (amministrazione@newbabyland.com) with the receipt of the wire
transfer, showing the number of CRO and specifying the number of the order.
Credit card:
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Cartasì, through a safe server
managed by the Bank of Fucino.
In case of payment by credit card, except gift voucher, your order can only
be made to the address of the person who is the holder of the credit card used
to purchase the products. Therefore Newbabyland.com is entitled to
refuse any order placed by you if containing a different address.
WARNING:
1) The holder of the order must be the cardholder
2) You must provide a home telephone number
3) The items will be shipped to the address of the holder of the order
If you don't comply with the above conditions, we will request that
card-issuing bank verifies the authenticity of your credit card details.
This process takes about 5 working days. At the end of that period, in the
positive, we will proceed to the delivery.
In order to speed up checks, Newbabyland.com reserves the right to
ask you a fax with front and back of the credit card and a valid identity
document.
Bank of Fucino, as manager of eCommerce, guarantees to merchants and shoppers
a high level of security of payments.
Bank of Fucino safeguards customer payments through its payment gateway ( recognizable
through the well known icon of closed padlock).A payment gateway securely transmittes
personal and card details over the internet, thanks to its secure server using
SSL technology to 128 bit
In this way Bank of Fucino assures all the purchasers:
1.The encryption of all entered data, so that nobody can intercept them during
the transaction between the browser and the secure server of Bank of Fucino.
2. The collection of personal data, in accordance with the strict confidentiality
criteria laid down by the Italian law 675/96.
We inform you that credit card codes are not passed to merchants, we only use
the essential data to administer your order.
Paypal:
By choosing this method of payment you will transferred to PayPal website,
in which you will carry out the transaction, we authorize
transactions only from verified PayPal users.
Pick & pay:
By choosing this mode you can order on-line all you need, at the price indicated
on the web site. The goods should be withdrawn not later than 2 working days
from the date of the order (unless otherwise stated by phone with us), in our
store in Via Mattia Battistini 450/C. In this respect you have to enter in
the appropriate field of the order form, the day on which you'll come in our
store. Remember to bring a copy of your order.
How to deal of the guarantee
1. All items sold on newbabyland.com are covered by a manufacturer's warranty.
It's a 24 months warranty for the consumer (i.e. a natural person buying the
goods for purposes not associated with his professional activity, in other
words, who doesn't indicate in the order form a reference VAT); and a 12 months
warranty for purchases made by companies or for professional purposes. To qualify
for the guarantee the customer will have to keep the certificate of purchase
received together with the goods.
1a. The guarantee shall apply to the products that present any lack of conformity
and/or manufacturing faults not noticeable at the time of sale, provided the
product is used properly and with the utmost care. The guarantee does not cover
accidental damage, or any fault due to misuse or wear and tear.
1b. Any repair within the warranty period is guaranteed by producers through
the authorized service centres. You will be liable for the full cost of the
carriage to the service centre, and the return carriage, unless otherwise stated
in the policies of the producer.
1c. If any goods are returned claiming to be faulty which the service center
regards as not being covered by the manufacturer's warranty, you will be liable
for the costs of verification and also, repair or replacement parts.
1d. The replacement in case of DOA (Dead on arrival: at the delivery the product
doesn't work) will be made only if it's provided by the manufacturer. The replacement
or repair time of the product depends exclusively on the policies of the producer.
1e. In case in which, for any reason, Babyland srl is not able to give the
customer a product in guarantee (restored or replaced), we can proceed, at
our own discretion, to the refund of the whole amount paid or to its replacement
with a product of equal or higher features.
1f. In case of delay in carrying out repairs or replacements, the customer
can in no way sue Babyland srl for damages.
1g. At all events, the product must be returned in the original package, complete
in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessory).
Care must be taken to ensure the return product is packed well to avoid damage
or loss of parts in transit. We recommend, when possible, to put it on a second
box. It should be avoided in all cases the affixing of labels and tapes directly
to the original package of the product.
Refunds policy
1. In accordance with the DL 185/1999 art. 5, if the customer is a consumer
(i.e. a natural person buying the goods for purposes not associated with his
professional activity, in other words, who doesn't indicate in the order form
a reference VAT) has the right to cancel the purchase contract for any reason,
without giving explanations and without paying any penalty, except as mentioned
in point 2.
1a. In order to exercise this right, the customer must send a communication
to Newbabyland.com within 10 working days of receiving the goods. Such communication
must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, addressed
to:

Otherwise you can send a telegram or fax, always within the abovementioned
time limit of 10 days, followed by a confirmation by registered letter with
acknowledgement of receipt, peremptorily sent within 48 hours. Once we receive
the return note, our customer service will quickly give to the customer the
instructions for the refund of the goods, which must be made within 10 working
days of receiving the same, to the aforementioned address.
2. The return is only accepted under the following conditions:
• The
law is applied to the product purchased in its entirety; it is not possible
to
exercise
a refund only on one part of the product and keep
the others.
• The product purchased must be in a perfect condition and returned in
the original package, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any
documentation
and accessory); Care must be taken to ensure the return product is packed well
to avoid damage or loss of parts in transit. We recommend, when possible, to
place it in a second box. It should be avoided in all cases the affixing of
labels and tapes directly to the original package of the product.
• The law stipulates that the cost of returned items is the responsibility
of the customer unless the goods are found to be faulty or delivered to you in
error.
• Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility.
• If the item has been damaged in transit to us, we contact you to inform
you of this (within 5 days of receiving it in our warehouse) so you can obtain
a refund (in case of insurance) from the courier company you chose. In this
case, the product will be made available to the client for its return, at the
same time cancelling the request of refund from us.
• Babyland srl is in no way responsible for goods that may get lost or
damaged during shipping not insured.
• At their arrival in our warehouse, all products will be examined and
appraised for any damages and tampering not due to the carriage. Products Returned
which
cannot be re-sold as new due to damage or wear and tear are subject to a reduction
in the Refund given, no more than 10% of the total amount, however.
2a. Provided the item is returned unused, in its original saleable condition
and in its original packaging, Babyland srl will issue a full refund for the
price you paid for it. lt is the responsibility of the customer to provide
his bank details (Cod. ABI - CAB - current account of the holder of the certificate
of purchase), so that we can proceed with a refund by bank transfer, which
will be credited to your account within 14 working days.2b. The right of withdrawal lapses definitively if:
• The
external and/or internal packaging is not original
• The item has some missing parts
• The item has been damaged in different circumstances
In case of loss of the right of withdrawal, Babyland srl will return the goods
purchased to the customer, charging freight to him.
Privacy policyThe information that you provide about yourself to NewBabyLand.com will only
be used to allow a correct order and in no case the details won't be given
to third party. The customer's privacy is guaranteed by DL 196 of 30.06.03.
The titular of the treatment of the customer's personal details is Babyland
srl, Via Mattia Battistini 450/C Roma.
